3. WHERE DID IT START?
The origins date back over 3000 years ago. Born from the Vedas in ancient India. This meditation was an integral part of the process to enlightenment.
4. HOW DOES IT RELATE TO YOGA?
In the west Yoga is often thought of in terms of physical postures, otherwise known as Asanas. The word Yoga means Union. That is union of the ever changing relative aspects of life with the divine absolute.

The great scribe Pantanjali drew up the 8 limbs of Yoga, in which Asanas are one aspect. Asanas translates as ‘seat’ meaning the postures of Yoga are designed not only to release stress but to prepare the body for meditation. Meditation is the process for reaching the Blissful state of no-mind (also known as Samadhi).

TM is a perfect compliment to your yoga practice, deepening your connection to being and guiding you effortlessly to Self realisation.

5. WHAT ROLE CAN IT PLAY IN MY LIFE?
This meditation is transformational in its nature. With regular practice unhealthy habits will gently fall away giving rise to a greater sense of self control.

6. WHEN DO I START TO SEE THE EFFECTS?
Instantly. It is very common for people to feel the effects of this meditation straight away.
7. IS IT FOR EVERYONE?
Absolutely! If you have meditated before or not, it will work. If you can sit, breath and think, you can meditate!
8. DO I NEED TO MEDITATE IN A SILENT PLACE?
No. You only need to be be doing nothing. You can meditate on public transport, at home or anywhere you please. Noise is no barrier to you experiencing inner Bliss.
9. I'VE TRIED TO MEDITATE BEFORE AND FOUND IT TOO DIFFICCULT
Other meditation techniques often try to control the mind through concentration. This can feel forced and unpleasant. As a result of this approach many believe that meditation is not for them or they can’t do it. maybe the image of the world renouncing monk comes to mind and you feel that you need to give up your worldly life and become a hermit!

10. HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT NEED?
I recommend 20 minutes twice a day. This will bring you great results!
11. BUT I DON'T HAVE TIME!
I know that life can feel too much sometimes and it is difficult to know what to prioritise but a small investment of your time to reap the incredible benefits of this meditation will be worth it. (see benefits) (see testimonials).

If you consider that there are 1440 minutes in a day, 841 of these minutes is spent on some media device (T.V, Internet, Socail Media, etc), approx 60 minutes travelling to work, it seems that we can get caught up in the outside world and not give ourselves the break we deserve!

A total of 40 minutes meditation equals 2.7% of your day. In that time you can improve your mental clarity, relieve stress and feel inner Bliss and contentment.
